It is fulled with easter eggs from the other movies, which personally I founded very interesting and fun. The ending may be confusing for those whe haven´t seen the first movies but if you had, you will find it quite interesting and enlightening. Actually it is way better than PA4, and even when it has been called a "spin off" it has way more to do with the entire plot than you would expect. If you want to get deeper into the whole Paranormal Activity universe, you must definitely watch this movie.
